This was my second time at Thilina’s place, and I was very happy to return. The property is peaceful, clean and surrounded by nature, with a spacious and comfortable room, air conditioning, hot water, clean linen and towels, a large bathroom and a private dining area on the patio.
What stood out most to me was Thilinas calm and patient nature. He handles things without unnecessary fuss or panic, which made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. His careful and attentive driving made my journeys to Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura and Mihintale very enjoyable. He never rushed and clearly has many years of driving experience. I always felt safe travelling with him. He also warned me about wildlife around dusk, although we still managed to spot two incredible wild elephants magnificent, roaring giants that were simply amazing to see!
During my visit to Anuradhapura, I unexpectedly had an office meeting that lasted around an hour and a half. Thilina patiently waited while I finished my meeting and lunch, and even spoke with the restaurant staff to reduce the music and drilling noise so I could attend the meeting peacefully. That small gesture showed how attentive he was to me as a guest. Another sincere thank you goes to the staff at The Elegant Nest Restaurant for allowing me to take my meeting there. The food was great too.
His wife, Ayodya, was lovely, and a special mention for the dinner she prepared, it was delicious and such a thoughtful gesture. They also took care of my laundry (with no chargers), which was very helpful during my stay. Spending time with Thilina’s parents and family was another special part of my visit. His little daughter completely stole my heart. ❤️❤️
I appreciate the hospitality during both my stays. Thank you, Thilina for the guidance and family, for making my time in Sigiriya so memorable. Carrying lovely memories, and this stay will certainly be one of them. I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.

Super Erlebnis! Thilina ist freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber und kennt alle sehenswerten Spots rund um Sigirya.
In der Unterkunft abend zu essen können wir außerdem wärmstens empfehlen, das Curry war das beste das wir in Sri Lanka gegessen haben.
Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und hat alles, was man braucht.

very new room and very clean! :) custom breakfast and well english speaking hosts 🌞 we could rent a scooter and they did the laundry with no softener, which i am allergic to - thx 🙏🏽
