Location is fantastic! It has a lift for most of the floors but I used once as I love to use the stairs even 5 floors up. It was a 5 minute walk to my son's home. There is a Spar very close to the apartment and this apartment has air conditioning which when I booked in June, I really needed as I live in Florida, USA, and air conditioning is common so I was concerned with summer heat & AC to sleep. Florian is a wonderful host. I've been using Booking.com for road trips, trips to Austria, etc for a while now and Florian was the MOST communicative I've ever experienced. His responses were very timely and helpful. The refrigerator even had a little freezer and ICE which was a real treat!!! I made iced tea in my apartment which felt like home at the end of a hot day of walking, biking & playing with my 5 year old granddaughter..
I am aware that in Austria, even people in their late 70s are biking, walking everywhere and as someone that loves both of those things, I enjoy t! But as a 68 year old with an old injury to my neck, occasional shoulder & lower back pain, I will not book this apartment again because the bed is in the loft and the 12 steps up while fine for this traveler in the day time proved a little concerning in the middle of the night when really tired. I chose to stay downstairs about 4 nights after bathroom trips for fear that in my sleepy state I might slip and fall. I discussed this with Florian and he has another apartment in the same building on one level so I will definitely reserve this building with Florian next year if it is available!
