Location: It is not too difficult to get to the apartment from the train station (either 2 short subway rides, then a 10 min walk; or to get closer, you can take 2 buses which will get you within a 3 minute walk of the apt, but make sure you purchase your ticket before you leave the station. You might want to consider the 24-hour day pass (about 10 Euros)
The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a building on a side street, so it is very quiet, especially on the balcony which overlooks a courtyard at the back of the building.
There is a large grocery store (BILLA) a short block away, with several smaller stores, cafes and restaurants in this working-class neighbourhood.
Value for $: Considering the cost of comparable apts in Vienna, we found the price quite reasonable for what was offered.
Checkin/out: Extremely easy! You tell them when you are arriving, and friendly Ralph meets you at the door, gives you a tour of the apartment and explains everything, as well as leaving several info pieces to guide you on your journeys in Vienna! Perfect!
Accommodation: Exactly as described, but larger and better! The apt is immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. There is a large, very comfy sofa in the living room and a fully equipped kitchen, including a fabulous, easy-to use coffee machine and bags of coffee! There is a bar counter with chairs, as well as a kitchen table that can seat at least 4-6 persons! There are 2 good-sized bedrooms with plenty of cupboards and each having a desk area. The bathroom is also a good size, very clean and functional, with the added plus of a washing machine! And the final nice touch is the balcony, with a seating capacity of 6 persons! A great place to end your day!
So much thought and effort has gone into this apartment that there wasn’t anything we didn’t like, and, unbelievable to me, I do not have any suggestions! All I could think of while there was that I wanted to stay much longer in the apt, and most definitely would return if in the area again! Thanks Katherine and Ralph for sharing this space with my family!

... die Betten waren auch super bequem.
Baustelle vor der Tür, hat aber nicht gestört.

Die Wohnung war sehr geräumig, sehr schön, modern und ausgesprochen umfangreich ausgestattet.
Genau vor dem Haus, in der selben Straße, wird eine U-Bahn gebaut. Das hat leider nicht in der Anzeige gestanden. Der Baulärm ist deutlich wahrnehmbar. Der Bau hat auch bereits Riss-Spuren am gesamten Gebäude hinterlassen. Das ist für die Eigentümer wirklich sehr misslich.
