Great location. Ideally situated. Well suited for families. Everything we needed in the caravan.
Sofa wasn't comfortable,dipped at one side. Table a little loose. We spent more time time indoors as older ladies. Whereas family would have been out more.

It was a great location,quiet but still easy to get to everything. Parking is right by the caravan. Spacious and lots of kitchen and toiletry basics are already there so you don't have to worry about packing toilet rolls or kitchen cloths or buying as soon as you arrive.

Clean, tidy apartment, comfy bed. Complimentary shampoo/soaps etc in the toilets, bathroom and kitchen.
The first thing that we saw when we entered the lodge were a number of fly strips around the lodge - hung from the cooker hood, in the bathrooms, in the lounge area, all were covered with flies!!
The owner had left a bag of fresh ones under the sink, which obviously indicates that they are aware there is an issue and possibly some kind of fly infestation! We replaced the fly strips with new ones and went out for an hour they were covered again when we got back!!! A deep clean behind cookers, under kitchen cabinets and the fridge would likely resolve this issue - my wife works in catering and is fastidious about cleanliness - this was such a shame and did really spoil our overall stay.
The towel rails in both bathrooms are vey rusty and unsightly - again such a shame when replacements are only around £70 each.
