Convenient for where I needed to go. Staff were friendly and accommodated my very late checkin.

The booking.com hotel description said there 'may' be a surcharge for pets, but there was no confirmation as to whether and how much until I was asked to hand over an extra £20 before going to my room. Would have preferred more transparency here as they have you over a barrel by that point. The room was good enough to lay my head for the night, but there was a noticable damp patch on the wall above the wardrobe in room 3 where the wallpaper was coming away.. it seemed to extend into the bathroom with discolouring on the sealent near the ceiling - significant roof leak most likely. I saw no mould but something needs attending to there or itll get worse and you wouldnt want to be breathing in mould overnight.

Perfect location for me. Lovely large room and shower. Superb value for money. Polite, friendly and efficient staff.
