To be honest it was really what i wanted Paris to be all about . The staff were simply excellent and always helpful, the management were totally engaging and when sitting waiting for an evening taxi we were approached to see if pre-drinks were needed which was a lovely touch . On the Saturday we returned early afternoon due to heavy rain , we were soaked and they prepared fresh coffee and cakes which was a lovely touch . The hotel is boutique, the rooms are spacious and the different size doors in an old building are quite quirky.
The breakfasts were well priced and there was more than enough per person served to our table.
Position wise it’s perfect for walking around that part of the city where restaurants and bars, antique shops , clothes shops , out door cafe life is very much in abundance and there is a “safe” feeling in the streets . We were 10 minutes from the Louvre and that speaks volumes .
We are creatures of habit , if you find a little gem 💎 you go back again …..
One final thought , the beds are so comfortable , the linen beautifully clean … loved the whole experience . We can only thank Julien and the rest of the staff for such a memorable stay .
