I stayed at the Shangri-La initially for a work meeting, but was then joined by my family for some personal time. The breakfasts were very good (with amazing views from the breakfast room), the rooftop bar and swimming pool were a wonderfully relaxing and cool place to chill out in the evenings after a heavy day of work or sightseeing (the cashew nuts are amazing!) and we also tried the Chinese restaurant which had fabulous food and very generous portions. By far the highlight of our stay however, was the staff. From the check0in at Reception to the Concierge staff on the ground floor, nothing was too much trouble, and we were always greeted with a friendly smile, personalized greeting and useful piece of advice. They really made us feel very much like home from home and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Phnom Penh.
After so many days in the hotel, the variety of breakfast inevitably felt a little limited. Similarly, it would have been great to have a wider choice of options on the in-room dining menu. The hotel is situated in the Chinese area of the city so a little bit away from core hustle and bustle, but nothing was too far to reach in a taxi and we quiet enjoyed the relative calm and tranquility. These are very minor issues however that did not spoil a wonderful overall stay.

Rooms were great. I was on the Executive floor and service was decent and nice. I think the hotel was very quiet. Lovely fit out and staff all around.
Staff was unsure of Breakfast times and there was a very empty feeling about the hotel. Also on the last day there was a very strong smoky smell on the 46th floor....I think it came from the F&B area via a vent....

Its stunning and clean
We rented 5 rooms for my family and all the rooms were damp(beds, sheets, couches). To the point my brother slept on his floor. I told him to address it but he didnt.
