The hotel is lovely and very nicely finished, I was looking forward to seeing it as the buildings had been derelict for several years . Small bar to the front - reception area standard with lift - suites on mezzanine between ground and 1st floors and plenty of spacious bedrooms - we had a big balcony also - the room was bright and the AC system was excellent for both hot and cold as required. There is a nice bakery with lunch available and snacks in the courtyard of the hotel - we visited in Winter - I imagine in summer with the roof retracted this would be very nice. Breakfast was table service - with a small number of items on the buffet.
There was nothing I didn't like - the hotel was as expected. The only thing - perhaps with it being half term - the staff were under a bit of pressure at times in both the bakery and the restaurant

Clean tidy and good location
Staff inexperienced as asked for a second cup of coffee which I did not get had to ask for poached eggs not on breakfast plate think the server was very young and clearly did not take the breakfast order done right ,on second evening when arriving back to hotel we could not get in as I tried to phone and for some reason I couldn’t get through?? Which left us no other option than to bang the front door really hard supposedly 24 hour reception staff on eventually arriving to let us in after 25-35 minutes not good enough need a door bell or a key for front of hotel bad experience.
