The host took care of us from the very beginning, providing clear instructions on how to find the place and get inside. They also shared a driver’s contact and a list of must-visit places and helped us out with all other issues we had during and even after our stay.
The room is lovely, very clean, and equipped with everything you might need (including an iron, water, coffee, beer, and snacks in a shared space)
The location is excellent — just a 6-minute walk from the Duomo metro station. We were able to walk to most of the major sights, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby.

The apartment itself was lovely.
The decoration was lovely, it was clean and perfect.
Getting into the apartment was not as nice. The lift does not work if someone leave the door open! We had to climb 5 flights due to someone not closing the door of the lift properly.
The area was a bit scary for my liking. We arrived via taxi but the taxi could not take us to the door so we had to walk. It was not clear which apartment block we were going to - luckily as lady asked us and pointed us in the right direction… to get to the lift you had to climb a set of stairs first! We actually left early due the area. We were two women travelling and felt a but unsafe. Only our opinion as others may feel safer in the area.
