Man fühlt sich herzlich willkommenen und bekommt ein liebevolles Frühstück. Die Besitzerin ist offen und man fühlt sich wie bei alten Bekannten, nicht als wäre man ein fremder Gast. Das Pub unterhalb war familiär und heimelig und die Leite alle so freundlich.

We were walking the Offas Dyke from Hay on Wye and chose to end our day at the Royal Oak and on the trail. The pub was closed but we were made more than welcome with very comfortable and spacious rooms and a superb evening meal. The continental breakfast was excellent.

Lovely room with space to sit and chat, which was great. the breakfast was wonderful and Sarah was super helpful and welcoming.
It would be nice to have a mirror in the room, instead of just in the bathroom, and hooks for towels in the bathroom would also help.
