Good location for what we needed, lovely and clean, good size rooms. Mostly good facilities.
No chopping board or colander in the kitchen, we stayed 5 nights and needed to cook. No dishwasher tablets provided so had to buy some. The arm chair in the living room was broken so couldn’t be used throughout our stay which wasn’t ideal as we had to squeeze onto one sofa. The beds were twins pushed together rather than a true double- this would be better with a double mattress topper to avoid the dip in the middle. Mattresses rather soft and could do with replacing. No garden furniture which was a shame not to be able to sit outside. The shower wasn’t very powerful but acceptable.

The property is in a good location, 15 min walk away from tram services and the Etihad Stadium which was the main reason for our stay. We were able to park outside the property for free as well. The kitchen is well equipped and clean.
We booked for a family of 4 and were aware there were only 3 seats in the living room but when we got there, there was a sign on the armchair saying it is broken so do not use. We were even more disappointed after seeing someone had complained about this same thing at the beginning of the month so surely they would’ve sorted this by now. We sat around the kitchen table on the benches which was not very comfortable.
The beds were also very uncomfortable, the mattresses definitely need replacing and are 2 singles pushed together, this was quite disappointing especially after already being uncomfortable downstairs. It isn’t a quiet location which we expected as the property is on a traditional city street.
The house is very basic and could do with coat hangers and hooks for towels as there is no where to put them.
There also isn’t a doormat which would be a good idea to have definitely with British weather as we found ourselves walking into the house with wet, dirty shoes and not being able to wipe them.
The house is generally clean aside from the full ashtray in the courtyard.
We also had the displeasure of drinking a salty cup of tea as the sugar canister is filled to the brim with salt!
The hosts attentiveness during my stay was not needed and quite unnecessary, I received at least one message everyday of my stay asking me to dispose rubbish correctly even though the bins were already full and not sorted as advised, to register for late checkout and things that they had already covered before check in so we didn’t need constant reminders.
