We got amazing historical room, which was very comfortable and clean. Hotel has great location, staying there you can actually experience local life and visit cafes or restaurants in this area. Also owners were very nice, there was no problem with communication or check in/check out process.

Super liebe, zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Wir mussten mal früh los zum tauchen und trotz sehr spontaner Ankündigung wurde uns ein Frühstück to go zusammengestellt.
Die Klimaanlage kam leider kaum unter 27 Grad im zimmer.

Positives:
clean, nice renovation, responsive owner.
Paid extra for a balcony. Unfortunately it was about 2 metres away from balcony opposite on a narrow street....therefore pretty much no direct sunlight and a bit of a waste of time.See photo.
The room had minimal natural light.
The stay was very disappointing on the whole given the price (almost twice what I paid for other rooms on a tour of Malta Gozo.) All in all it was a pretty soulless stay in that I saw no other guests in 3 days and only one member of staff.
Said member of staff was responsible for breakfast, sometimes he was there, sometimes not. I waited 15 minutes for him to appear on day 2 as I wanted to ask for scrambled eggs; I looked in the kitchen, rang the reception bell, no sign of life. On day 3 no one was there either. When he was there he looked like he wished he wasn't.
As I say, given the price tag I expected much better of the place.
