Design, quality, thoughtful details, comfy bed

The apartment was really well appointed, modern and very good quality fixtures and fittings.
It was good to have a lift in a small building.
Close to the water & and a good selection of bars & restaurants along the promenade.
Arrival instructions needed to be more precise. We got a cab to the address given, but then it took us an hour to find the accommodation (despite having requested assistance). We eventually sent a photo of where we were, and then we were sent a pin.
Also, with no staff on site, a little more information earlier on, in terms of how to pay the local tax, would have been appreciated. We ended up having to work out a payment method late into the night before departure.
Also, footstool at the bottom of the bed takes up vital room and offers little in return. Two comfy chairs would have been better to be able to relax. Also, there is no means to heat up any food.
Finally, the 10 am check-out was the earliest we encountered after spending 9 nights in various locations in Malta.

We’re a couple in our 50's/60's on a short trip to Malta. This apartment was wonderful! It was comfortable and roomy, with thick walls and windows that blocked out noise. It had a full-size bed, a kettle for tea and coffee, and dishes and glasses. The refrigerator was a good size, and the hosts left two large bottles of water and a bottle of prosecco for us, which was a lovely touch. The air conditioning worked well, and we were glad of it since Malta’s evenings were still warm. The Wi-Fi was also very good.
The modern bathroom was spacious, with a very nice shower, good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
The location suits you if you’d rather be away from the main tourist areas. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the ferry and the small boats that cross to Valletta, and less than 5 minutes to the cafes along the marina. The neighborhood was quiet, and our room had a lovely view over the city wall to the marina. The apartment is a short walk up a hill, which you can take by stairs or by road. We were on the first floor, and there’s an elevator for the higher floors.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived late in the evening because of a late flight, and they let us check out late so we could keep our bags in the room until we left for the airport.
We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends vacationing in Malta.

We were looking for a place near Birgu for the candlelight festival. Nice 15min walk along the harbour front to get there.
Difficult to find so ensure good communication with the owner prior to arriving!
