The Cozy Cottage feels like a calm oasis to escape from the heat and bustle of Sempurna.
The staff were exceptionally attentive! Everyone was very friendly and the whatsapp group they made, made communication extremely easy. We even got a good night message when the front desk closed for the night 🥹
There was a convenient free shuttle service to take you into town. Especially useful with luggage. But the hotel is actually located just 10 minutes walk from the town centre & jetty so you can easily walk everywhere. Far enough from centre to offer some quiet but close enough so everything is easily reachable.
Special shout out to the cleanliness of this hotel! Also the furniture and decor was very tastefully done.
We had the room with no window. Obviously some natural light is always nice but there’s nothing that can be done about the floor plan of the hotel. Just something to bear in mind while booking if you prefer a window.
On the plus side, this meant our room was very quiet; we slept like babies in the pitch black & also… big plus… no mosquitos!
We didn’t pre-book breakfast and when trying to add it during check-in the selection was a bit limited so we decided to eat out. Probably our own fault since we didn’t give them enough notice. But there are cafés and a nice brunch spot 5 minutes walking away.

Excellent location near jetty. Staff were extremely attentive and kind, felt really safe
Just double check if there is a window in the room you are booking
