We loved our stay at the Blackstone M+ Hotel in Shanghai. It's set in a picturesque neighbourhood full of 1920s and '30s architecture, including the symphony orchestra building and tree-lined streets, and the hotel itself carries that character through into its interiors, with high-quality and beautifully considered finishes throughout. The staff were warm and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived, which we appreciated even more given we'd just landed off a long flight from Europe early in the morning. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious every morning. This is a hotel I'd happily return to on any future trip to Shanghai.

The location was excellent - easy to walk around the local area and in close proximity to great dining and shopping. The hotel itself is Art Deco and very tasteful. the area is the music area so heaps to look at. Lots of green spaces.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful- nothing was a bother. We had parcels delivered there with no issue at all. Staff made reservations for us. We certainly hope to return one day. Thank you :)

I had a wonderful stay at this property. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the service was warm. Breakfast items were delicious, some reviewers commented about the lack of variety but I really didn't mind.
The room was very comfortable with a suitably firm bed. Excellent and comfortable for solo travellers and couples. Location was amazing too, within easy and comfortable walking distance of many lovely cafes and eateries in the French Concession.
The property is advertised as child-free but there was a noisy toddler at breakfast on one of the days, so perhaps that description is not accurate.
The only downside was that the shower water pressure was a little inconsistent - if you reduced the pressure, the heater would switch off.

el desayuno es desastrozo. Si sos de occidente y te gusta desayunar fuerte para arrancar el día, te recomiendo que elijas otro hotel.
