It’s a huge old mansion or boarding house wish we knew the history! The sheets and towels were lovely. The directions to take off our outer shoes and wear slippers were clear with clean slippers provided. The room with tea and coffee was warm and welcoming. We visited with fellow travelers there. The bathrooms were clean. It was quiet at night. The mini frig in the room was great.

My husband loved the firm bed, I like a bit of cushion. I like bedside lamps and tables on both sides of the bed.

It was an interesting stay. We were told stories about ghostly experiences with this residence, and I may have experienced one myself! Not that anything was moved or missing, but definitely an occurrence. Check it out!

location was good. within 1/2 hour to 45 min from all popular trails. close to grocery store and restaurants. Very quiet facility with decent kitchen. the communal bathroom was a bit odd that there was no gender differentiation. But I never felt unsafe staying as solo.

bit outdated. facility could use some clean up of construction materials.
