John was kind enough to bring me a fan so temperature was cool at night. I saw many of the rooms that I would have preferred over mine. Great location for doing lots of exploration and very quiet, which I appreciated.
I did not care for the basement kitchen area but I used it anyway.
I booked through Expedia and found their cost high.

Can't wear shoe in the building that was different. The room had a TV but it didnt work. Over all the place was clean.

We primarily choose this hotel because of the access to the kitchen, the location and price. This property is being renovated and the building is architecturally interesting and has a storied history. This is a unique property. I had interesting conversations with the onsite manager who was very friendly. The kitchen was great as well as the game room. If you prefer a boutique experience over corporate uniformity, this place is for you!
