The lodge was amazing. Architecture was cool. Loved the lobby!
The only place to eat was the restaurant on site and it was subpar.

The hot spring water in the pool and public hot tubs has wonderful. The private tub on our balcony was very nice and relaxing. The accommodations were comfortable and clean.
The service we received in the restaurant was extremely slow. We were woken up two of the three mornings by children shouting in the hallway and the nearby playroom. Quiet hours should be strictly enforced in a place focused on relaxation. Also, guests without children should not be put near that room.

The location, the amenities, and the lobby.
Across the board, this place severely lacked in customer service.
The night before and day of, I messaged the property to ask for one hour early check in, no one ever responded.
We arrived at the property at 2:30, our room was not ready, they gave us pool keys and towels, so we could use the pool while waiting. They said they'd text us when the room was ready. Check in was 4pm, 515pm rolls around and still no text. I finally went to front desk to ask the status and they apologized "yes, it's ready". There was no explanation as to why I never got a text that it was ready.
We needed locks to store our bags while using the pool. Getting a lock for the pool locker room took 3 back and forth trips, getting a broken lock at one point. They told my husband he needed to pay for his lock, then said "oh, if you're staying here, you don't have to pay". They should have asked in the first place and not have assumed.
I was told we'd HAVE to make a reservation for dinner in their restaurant. The employee who gave me my room keys, supposedly attempted to make a reservation, but told me the system had "logged me out". She then told me to go ask the bartender to help me make a reservation. I made an attempt to do so, but he then sent me to the hostess stand, where I learn that I don't "need" to make a reservation, but it's "encouraged to do so". I made a reservation and when we showed up to eat, there were literally more empty tables, than occupied.
At this point, we'd been at the property for less than 3 hrs and have paid over $450. The lack of customer service and staff unable to assist me, follow through, or give me the run around was unacceptable. Considering the price we're paying, we expect better service. I don't see my family staying here again.
