The property was clean and tidy. There were lots of little ‘extras’ provided. For example there was milk in the fridge, sachets of coffee, hot chocolate etc, and in the bathroom shower caps, make up wipes and very nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It was also lovely to stay somewhere that had a full set of matching crockery and cutlery.
The approach is a bit off-putting - basically a back alley with loads of wheely bins. There isn’t truthfully much that can be done about it, but it isn’t the best “first sight” of the property. From the description we were expecting a closer view of the sea, the view was okay, but I was hoping to be closer. The description also mentioned an area for sitting out to relax, but it isn’t currently a place where you could sit and relax.

Location excellent for what we wanted, perfect size property with good facilities - everything we needed for a home away from home! We were able to do everything we wanted and not be faced with noise from anywhere else, a nice apartment in a nice quiet part of the Northumberland coastline.
Entry to property is misleading - you are greeted by back alley with scattered dustbins BUT this should not detract from overall property once inside. Yard needs attention if people want to use it but is a little disconcerting that the neighbours bathroom is overlooked by yard, meaning felt awkward using it. We also had issues with most of condiments etc that had been left were up to a year out of date - messaged owner but never had reply so left bagged for them with a note. Cleaning company also need to tackle high corners in living room and low cupboard corners in kitchen for dusty cobwebs - once seen cannot unsee but again did not detract from stay. Things we did not like would not detract from us returning as not critical.
