The flat was beautiful and very large. Plenty of room for 4 of us. There was a lovely pub on the corner (Graham Arms) and the food was excellent.
There were a LOT of key boxes so it was a little confusing. Soon sorted it out though.

Self contained apartment with all facilities available .near. to all amenities within a very short walk. Everything was on the doorstep.
There was nothing to dislike. Apart from maybe you should promote local taxis in the area and not have to use companies from Carlisle as the charge a lot more as they come from there so cost is about £40.00 as opposed to 10and £15.00

Not needing to meet in person. The flat was very fun and quirky and clean apart from horribly dirty windows, they haven't been washed for years.
The parking is not very big but both days we found a parking spot opposite flat, so that was good. There is a river walk nearby with playground, which is a bit run down.
It was a bit confusing where to go as the house number was not on the entry gate while 2 other numbers were there.
There is no dishwasher and you are asked to wash dishes by hand before leaving the property, so before using anything I have washed the items as I do not trust anyone to do an honest job by hand with the awkard dish brush that was on the kitchen sink. Washing up liquid and liquid soap were provided. We had to look for dish towels and hand towel for the bathroom, we found those in the cupboard under the microwave. I booked for 4 people, 2 bedrooms: 1 double bed, 2 single beds, and there were only 3 chairs in the kitchen. I had to drag a tiny stool from our bedroom. Towel ring was broken and put under the sink. There was only one hook in the bathroom, one!
Read the instructions in the folder on how to use the shower before getting undressed! You have to press some buttons outside the bathroom to use the shower. The shower door feels like it's going to come out any moment. Bath mats are not cotton, one was made from some rubber/silicone, the other was bamboo, so not sure how clean they were - I put some small cotton towel on the floor. The towels stunk musty and bc of that I was the only one who took showers, I had no choice as it was "that part of the month".
The windows are single and the road is a very busy one, right next to the Pelican crossing. First night the sound broke down and it was on constantly for half an hour and neighbours didn't call anybody to sort it out. Lorries carrying animals could be heard from early hrs, at least from 5 am on Saturday and Sunday.
For a long stay this isn't great as there is no washing machine and mattresses are very cheap and uncomfortable and the street noise was too much.
Would we go back there? No.
