We had a great stay at the Ramada by Wyndham New Orleans Airport. Check-in was quick, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel appears to have recently been completely remodeled or changed ownership. Everything felt fresh, including the paint, flooring, furniture, and bathrooms. The room was clean and comfortable.
One of the best features is the secure gated airport parking with a shuttle that runs at the top of every hour. Parking was only $7 per day during our stay, making it an excellent value for airport travelers.
The pool was large and very clean. There was a noticeable odor in parts of the hotel, but it seemed to be from new construction materials still off-gassing rather than a cleanliness issue.
The only minor downside was that the elevators seemed older, although they appeared to have been recently refreshed. I didn’t use them because I’m claustrophobic.
Overall, this is a great budget-friendly hotel before or after a flight, and we would definitely stay here again.
