We absolutely loved our stay here. Kastraki is a beautiful little village and, for us, was the perfect place to base ourselves for exploring Meteora.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, cosy and extremely comfortable, with a lovely kitchenette and a great bathroom with a wonderfully powerful shower, something we really appreciated after a day out walking! Private parking was another big plus.
We happened to visit during a heatwave, with temperatures around 39°C during the day and still very warm at night, so the air conditioning was hugely appreciated. The apartment felt like a lovely cool, cosy little cave to come home to.
There were also some really thoughtful touches from our hosts. They left us fresh grapes from their garden and a jar of homemade apricot jam, which my husband declared the best jam he has ever tasted!
Kastraki itself is fabulous, with several excellent tavernas and grocery shops within easy reach. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for much more.
The only slight downside was the Wi-Fi, which was very intermittent and mostly unavailable during our stay. Mobile signal in the area can also be quite poor, so this made planning our walking routes a little difficult.
It certainly didn’t spoil our stay, though, and was a very minor issue compared with everything we loved about the apartment.

La posizione: zona tranquilla vicina a tante taverne e sulla strada per visitare meteora.

Appartamento ben curato nei dettagli, un pò basso ma nel complesso comodo.
Dehor delizioso
Purtroppo c'era un odore di olio/benzina derivante dal locale termico adiacente che penetrava nell'appartamento.
Era un pò fastidioso.

Emplacement proche du centre et du site des Météores.
Studio, neuf et très propre.
Propriétaire très accueillante, elle nous a offert de la confiture maison excellente 👍
