The property is beautiful and in a beautiful location. We loved the patio and the view. It’s a nice small, simple space and we liked that.
It was really easy to communicate with Eirini and we really appreciate the early check-in and the help with the extra kitchen tools and the mats for the bathroom.
-The kitchen was very annoying to use. There is no counter space, we had to ask to have a sharp knife and a cutting board, and the cabinet door hits the air conditioner every time you open it. The cabinets are huge, but are mostly only good for storing plates.
-All the power sockets are really high up and don’t reach the appliances. The kettle has to go on top of the stove, which could be a problem if someone turned the stove on by accident. We didn’t use the toaster or microwave, but I’m not sure how we would have done if we did want to.
-There is no shower curtain in the bathroom. Eirini gave us more mats to use on the floor, but it’s really annoying that water sprays all over the room when you use the shower.
-If you continue to renovate, I think it would work really well to rip out the current kitchen and bed. Make that room into a nicer kitchen/dining area and then make the little room in the back into the bedroom. If you put a sliding door on the bathroom, that would make it feel like more space.
