I love the place. The room was very clean, very well equiped, in the old village style. Welcoming bottle of wine on the table. Great veranda to enjoy breakfast. My reservation did not include breakfast, but I was granted one on the house. The village itself is beautiful and worth visiting. But the best value is the host. Very warm, very helpful. I got lost while I entered the village. He offered to find me and brough safely to the hotel. He also led me to the event I was attending in the village in order not to get lost again. When leaving next day he again came to show me the way out from the village. Great hospitality, Mr Panagiotis! Thank you!

Το Vouni Calais είναι ένα υπέροχο αναπαλαιωμένο σπίτι στο χωριό Βουνί, αποτελούμενο από τέσσερις ανεξάρτητες μονάδες (δύο στο ισόγειο και δύο στον πρώτο όροφο). Τα δωμάτια είναι πεντακάθαρα και άνετα, με όλες τις απαραίτητες παροχές για μια σύντομη διαμονή (π.χ. ψυγείο, βραστήρα, καφετιέρα κ.λπ.). Τα δωμάτια είναι κλιματιζόμενα, με μεγάλα κρεβάτια και σύγχρονο ντους. Η πρόσβαση στο σπίτι είναι εύκολη και οι οδηγίες για να πάει κανείς εκεί ξεκάθαρες. Το καλύτερο, όμως, όλων είναι οι ιδιοκτήτες του, Παναγιώτης και Ανθούλλα, που φροντίζουν ώστε να μη λείψει τίποτα από τους επισκέπτες τους, κάνοντάς τους να νιώσουν μέλη της οικογένειάς τους. Η ευγένεια, η περιποίηση και η φροντίδα τους είναι αυτά που κάνουν τη διαφορά. Θα χαρούμε πολύ να ξαναμείνουμε εκεί.

We spent three days exploring the Troodos Mountains and chose Vouni Calais as our base. We were not disappointed.
Set in a beautiful, traditional village, Vouni Calais has everything you will need for a restful stay. The accommodation is well appointed, immaculate and very comfortable.
We enjoyed wonderful meze in the taverna across the street and sat in the village square enjoying the atmosphere with locals and visitors alike on Saturday night.
However, our hosts, Panayiotis and Anthoula, were the highlight of this special stay. We were treated like family. We enjoyed sharing stories, drinks and food together. We also made friends with our neighbours.
This is a special place to stay. Try it for yourself. We highly recommend it.
