We had a great stay at Amboseli Cabin Trails and can highly recommend it. It is a small, peaceful camp with just two cabins, making the experience feel very private and personal. The owner takes care of everything and is always available to help, making our stay completely hassle-free.
We drove from Nairobi to the camp in a single day, so it is a convenient option for a self-drive safari. The cabins have a fully equipped kitchen, allowing you to prepare your own breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owner can also arrange trips into Amboseli National Park.
The facilities were excellent for a camp: hot showers, a proper bathroom and a flushing toilet. Everything worked well during our stay.
One thing to keep in mind is that there is no air conditioning or heating. We visited in September, and this was absolutely no problem for us, but it is worth knowing when planning your trip.
The highlight was sitting around the campfire in the evening with a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro. A fantastic place to relax before or after exploring Amboseli!

Wat een mooie setting. Echt geweldig, met een fantastisch zicht op de Kilimanjaro. Brian en Agri staan steeds klaar om je te helpen. Zelfs toen onze taxi in de vroege ochtenduren niet kwam opdagen, regelde Brian een taxi voor ons zodat we trein in Emali nog konden halen.
De motor bike safari is een echte topper - zeker doen! Amboseli NP is hiervandaan goed te bezoeken - prachtig park!
Wel rekening houden met dat er geen winkels of eetgelegenheden om de hoek zitten. Brian is bezig met de bouw van een buitenkeuken en digitale betaalmogelijkheden, maar voorlopig beter nog even wat boodschappen en cash USD meebrengen.

Abbiamo soggiornato in 5 occupando entrambe le capanne, una è attrezzata con cucina, bagno e soggiorno, l'altra solo stanza da letto con bagno esterno, sono molto urate ed accoglienti. Lo staff molto gentile e disponibile.
La struttura dista 30 minuti dal gate del parco Amboseli.
Purtroppo siamo capitati qui in giorni molto freddi e la struttura non è attrezzata per questo, non c'era acqua calda perché prodotta da pannelli solari, alcune finestre non hanno il vetro ma solamente una tenda davanti.
Rapporto qualità prezzo non adeguato.
