We stayed in Casa Parella, the ground level apartment, for 2-weeks end of August to September. What we loved about the place was the outdoor living space, pool, garden and views of Montgo. It was a fabulous place to unwind and relax. The original building has been extended and modernised and the section we were staying in had lots of original features with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The surrounding neighbourhood is a quiet, residential area so it’s useful to have transport to get around. Overall, we loved our stay at Casa Parella and would have happily stayed for longer!
Improvement suggestions: it would have been nice to have more towels and bed linen, plus tea towels for the kitchen, and more efficient electric fans.

The property itself was lovely, clean, spacious and over two weeks, almost felt like home!
The only thing negative we could say is that the pool was constantly quite cloudy. There were cleaners there every other day but you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool so our children ended up losing one of their pool toys. We still made lots of use of the pool though and would say that it didn’t particularly bother us or stop us from having fun.

Uiteindelijk gezien dat de flat aan de onderkant van het huis, aan de Noordzijde, helemaal niet zo slecht was. We hebben plezier gehad en de porche is heerlijk koel en rustig. Maarrr: wij hadden een villa met airco geboekt en waren nogal teleurgesteld dat bij aankomst bleek dat we 1/3e deel van de villa en zonder airco kregen! We kregen dus 1 van 3 appartementen in een villa, en zonder airco en het zwembad wordt gedeeld met de anderen.
We hebben zo'n 3 uur gewacht op een oplossing en die hebben de lokale verhuurders niet geboden (zij gaven aan dat ze al vaker Booking.com informeerden dat het om een 1/3e ging) en heeft Booking.com ook niet geboden. Bellen naar Booking op het moment heeft weinig zin: ze bellen niet terug als ze dat beloven, je krijgt iedere x een ander contact, en als het te moeilijk wordt doen ze alsof de telefoonverbinding niet goed werkt ! Je staat dus in je hemd, want je hebt Booking ondertussen al weken eerder het gehele bedrag overgemaakt ... Let dus op.
Zwembad deel je dus met andere verblijfsgasten. Tip voor poolman: je doet teveel chloor in het zwembad waardoor het ondoorzichting is.

Ruime tuin en zwembad.
Toen wij boekten leek het een hele villa met privé zwembad. Dat bleek niet het geval. Het zijn twee appartementen met een gedeelde tuin en zwembad. En er wonen nog twee personen tegen de woning die dezelfde oprit en poort gebruiken.
Daarnaast blijft het in de slaapkamers op de eerste verdieping erg warm, de airco in de woonkamer heeft geen effect daar. En de bedden kraken.
