About this house rental
Discover this superb 4-bedroom gem in Narragansett. This lovely estate boasts 2 queen beds and 2 full beds, perfect for a 5 person group getaway. With amenities like AC, WiFi, washer and dryer to use. Guests can relax and unwind comfortably. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with a hairdryer and shower with soap for convenience. Whether you're lounging in the cozy living room or enjoying the gorgeous outdoor space, this property offers a delightful retreat for your vacation. No kayaks or paddle boards are included with this home. But you are welcome to bring your own watercraft equipment to use at your own risk. It Is important to know There are no lifeguards on duty. No beach passes are included. But, there are two great State beaches immediately in the area. Scarborough and Roger Wheeler State Beach are 3 to 4 miles away, less than a 10 minute drive. It’s $12 a day or $60 a week for an out-of-state beach pass for a car load of people. There is also. Salty Brine State Beach that has some great restaurants that surround it or you can catch a ferry there one day to Block Island. That’s an entirely different gem of an experience.
Once you buy a state beach parking pass, all state beaches are included like, East Matunuck Beach in South Kingstown or Misquamicut Beach in Westerly, is a little further out but, It’s a beautiful ride to Westerly, where you can drive past Taylor Swift’s house and a great little village called Watch Hill where they have a historical merry-go-round for the kiddies and great restaurants for adults. The other option I recommend is going to Newport Rhode Island where you can view the mansions like the historical Breakers, which was owned by the Vanderbilts. It’s a beautiful Nautical Town to visit one day with amazing restaurants.
FYI, There is a tiny beach on the island where the house is located called “Harbor Island Beach” on Sandy Beach Rd, that you can walk to and it’s no charge. Beach chairs should be available under the rear deck stairs.
