Melek (Angel in Turkish language) is a pure gem! It is in a beautiful, authentic part of Halfeti. The hotel is recently built in the traditional way - stone. The choice of the architecture by the owners, is fantastic: the terrace is absolutely huge something like 150-180m!!! They really privileged your comfort to their gain (they could have made 5 big rooms from this terrace space)!... In this conditions they have very few rooms, maybe 3-4, but you are Kings and Queens there!... The interior design is beautifully traditional blend with all modern comfort. We came there after a vacation visiting historical towns and we were delighted to find this calm, enchanted place. The owner and his daughter were fantastic, very eager to help, support and to give us anything we might need. We particularly appreciate the golden figs from his garden, a delight that we never tasted before. The coffee, menengic (pistachio coffee), tea, were all offer by our host... Turk hospitality at its best!!! And the Turkish breakfast is a pure feast!!! Delicious, variate, served with local products and home made "cigar börek"... By the way, near the hotel there is a fabulous canyon to visit by feet. It is at 500m, a total walk of 2 km. The owner told us about, it was magnificent as it is described nowhere!!! (NB: this canyon, while astonishingly beautiful from nature perspective and presenting ancient ruins inside, is unfortunately quite polluted by plastic waste, but still worth visiting for its fantastic natural beauty and magnificent history). I can only recommend this hotel: location, architecture, calmness, warm welcome from the owners. Everything was perfect about Melek Butik Otel!
