The photos don't do this place justice. We stayed in room 3 which was a comfortable, spacious room. The bed was huge with a large shower and bath. The Frenchgate is an older building with character but with modern immaculate facilities, a short walk from the centre of Richmond. The host, Jennifer was lovely and welcoming and we enjoyed a good breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended.

Our host Jennifer gave us a warm welcome and was very knowledgeable about the local area.
The breakfast choices were good and the breakfast room had lovely views out of the windows.
The bedroom was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the en suite bathroom.
Overall we enjoyed a very pleasant stay and Richmond is a lovely town.
