Staff. The staff were great, very helpful .
Room on the upper floor with no lift. I struggled with the stairs.

This was an ideal location for me with a leisure centre and spa close by which can be used by the residents. The staff at the leisure centre and Spa were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
The bed was hard and needed extra bedding as didn’t feel warm enough in the night. It took a long time to fill the bath as the water pressure in the taps was so low I nearly gave up.
There was unfortunately a fire alarm at approx 8.45pm The loud speaker in the room repeatedly instructing to leave the building immediately via the nearest fire escape. This was extremely stressful and once outside there were no staff around to guide the residents and children in the cold standing around. I eventually went into the reception area to find one member of staff having a laugh with the receptionist. I said this had completely refined the evening and because of the lack of communication outside and would expect a refund. She confirmed it was a false alarm with no apology abruptly told me there would be no refund and carried on talking to her colleague. She pointed at the stairs as no one was using the lift so I made my way back to the top floor.
