Great house in a nice location, but...

It is a real family house (much more than an "apartment"). The location is great between Cabo and San Juan Playa with the tram very nearby.

The house could use some TLC (e.g. the ceiling in the main bathroom was coming down). Also the cleaning could be better (e.g. our pants were full of white animal hair after seating down the first time, ...). Also overall the details could be better (e.g. empty, dirty bottles for oil, vinegar under the sink. Cheap bed linen on the sofa,...) The biggest issue was though that the place was a construction site! Next door the patio was already full with debris when we arrived and most weekdays we woke up with drilling and hammering. It was unlivable. Other days it was just "construction site noises" like loud radio, singing etc. This will take certainly some more months since it need to be rebuild completely. The house should not be rented out until this is finished! The agent that was the contact for the place was not actually really helpful. Too late to hand over keys: sorry..., Water kettle broken: sorry...., Not be able to talk to each other due to the noise: sorry.... A lot of sorry, but nothing done about things (no alternative to stay/ compensation, no new kettle, no....)... We would certainly book the place again if the construction next door is finished and another agency (or the owner themselves) would manage it...

Wat echt tegenviel was het feit dat er een prachtig zwembad was, waar we echter geen gebruik van mochten maken. De reden waarom we de vorige boeking geannuleerd hebben was het ontbreken van een zwembad. Booking .com had dit kunnen en moeten weten en ons moeten informeren.
