About this cottage rental
Fishlake is one of the best kept secrets between Chicago and Detroit. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the the city and unwind in this very quiet and comfortable lake Cottage. It's an all sports lake that has a ski course.(Rental Boats near by) Great fishing and great neighbors. The cottage has all you need to relax and have a good time. 2 Kayaks are available for use. The hot tub is great after a long day on the lake. You can't go wrong with this place. This is a 1 bed 1 bath that has high end finishes.Full Kitchen for as small as it is. This isn't the kind of rental that isn't completely stocked. The sofa in the TV room is a pull out bed that is brand new and actually very comfortable. This place can sleep 5 people comfortably. With an air mattress available if needed.
In the summer the sunsets are exactly center to the cottage. It's absolutely what you need after dealing with the the daily grind of the city. You can't go wrong with this place. It's just so magical and rejuvenating.

This property is excellent. It has everything you need (unlike many vacation rentals nowadays). We grilled burgers, played fetch with our dog in the lake, watched the sunset, made lamb ragu, watched the World Cup games, played Grateful Dead on the record player, had a fire, and used the hot tub. I don't think I've stayed anywhere as perfect as this spot!

Our second visit there. The coziness and overall vibe is great!We enjoyed the hot tub and the vinyl collection and the big TV for March Madness. The view of the lake is beautiful!Probably looking to go back in the summer.

We loved the place! It had snowed and snowed while we were there. It was magical being in hot tub while it snowed. The turntable and vinyl collection was a hit with us. The host was so nice. We definitely want to make another visit.
