La habitación estaba limpia y era cómoda.Cenamos allí con media pensión y calidad precio muy bien. El anfitrión es muy majo y se ofrece hacer cosas por si os apetece. Nosotros contratamos el safari de medio día con ellos y nos costó 62 dolares por persona, no miramos más y confiamos en el precio del anfitrión. Tengo que decir que el chico del safari con el que fuimos lleva 24 años haciendo safaris y era una maquina de encontrar animales, los vimos todos y la verdad que el madrugón merece la pena. Respecto a la ubicación como nosotros íbamos a yala hacer el safari, está muy bien.

I cannot recommend Blue Birds enough. It was a delight to stay here. We had struggled a little with our driver/guide to communicate in English and Priya assisted us with this and booked our safari which was fabulous. You are safe hands with Priya, he is happy to help in any way and he answered lots of our questions. The room was nice, clean & comfortable with a/c. It is slightly tucked off the road which is nice but our driver just rang and we found it easily. We booked dinner and this is something not to miss. I would say it was the best dinner of our entire holiday. Home cooked by Prius’s wife, she is amazing. Absolutely delicious, and a delightful dessert which we were surprised with, and enjoyed so much. The local curd and honey, almost like greek yoghurt but much nicer! We were bowled over with the food and personal service. We also asked for a lot of ad hoc coffee which was always provided, even at 4.15am before our safari at Yala.

The welcome was exceptional. The staff were so helpful. We arrived late and they arranged food within 40 minutes. Easy book in and good wi-fi. A lovely place to unwind after a jeep safari in Yala - they will arrange the safari for you. Breakfast was excellent. Sorry we weren’t able to stay for more than just the overnight stop.

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Priya geht in seiner Rolle richtig auf seinen Gästen eine schöne Zeit mit tollen Tierbeobachtungen zu ermöglichen. Er ist mit uns extra noch Krokodile, Vögel und abends Flying Foxes beobachten gefahren. Wir wurden mit allem versorgt, sogar mit Ferngläsern. Für die Safari wurden wir auch mit leckerem Essen versorgt.

Das Badezimmer ist sehr länglich angelegt. Es ist nicht wirklich klein, fühlte sich dadurch aber eng an. Es war aber alles sauber und in Ordnung.

The owner is really kind and genuinely committed to make your stay great. He organize outings to view crocodiles and bats if you manage to get to the property quite early (around 5). Very clean room, quite basic but exactly like shown in the pictures Very god local food served for dinner (rice, vegetables, dahl, chicken and buffalo custard) and abundant take away breakfast for the safari Card payment accepted

Bit far from Yala entrance - but of course this can be checked before booking The owner cannot have control on this so nothing to blame, but there was an extremely loud event next door (singers and dancing) going on until almost 1 am… not ideal when you have to wake up at 4 for a Safari I ended up sleeping a couple of hours which really ruined the entire following day for me. Again the owner is not responsible for this but is a risk to consider

Good Property. The hosts were fantastic, they took us Bird and Crocodile watching free of charge. They were great. The room was basic but had the necessities. They offered a driver service to Tangalle. Again the owner was brilliant.

Service could be quicker and more organised. We had dinner and the service was quite disorganised. The location was convenient for Yala but not much else around. Additionally, the room lacked additional amenities and was rather basic. Felt like a spare room rather than a homestay/hotel.

De host was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam zonder opdringerig te zijn. Hij heeft ons meegenomen om krokodillen en vogels te bekijken (gratis). Hij heeft ook de safari voor ons geregeld. De kamer was erg schoon en er was een warme douche. Dankzij hem hebben we een super ervaring gehad. Erg aan te raden!
