Cottage 6 is the largest cottage at Sunnyside — 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeping up to 10. The kitchen and living room were just remodeled with new flooring, cabinets, and countertops. Every stay includes access to Sunnyside's shared grounds: private beach access, a fire pit, volleyball, and shuffleboard. Plenty of room to spread out, plenty of reasons to gather.

Sunnyside Cottages sits on Lake Huron in Greenbush, Michigan, right along US-23 between Harrisville and Oscoda.

Guests will have access to their private 4-bedroom cottage, along with several shared amenities throughout the property.

Each cottage is fully private, but the outdoor spaces are shared and designed to give the whole property a relaxed, lakeside-retreat feel.

The area is best explored by car — most beaches, restaurants, and attractions are a short drive away.
- Parking is available on-site for guests.
- Harrisville and Oscoda are both within 15–25 minutes.
- Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are limited this far up the coast, so we recommend having a vehicle for your stay.
- Alpena, with the nearest regional airport, is about an hour north.

Once you're here, plenty of guests are happy just settling in at the cottage and walking down to the beach.

House Rules: No parties or large gatherings. No drugs or illegal substances. Violating these rules may result in fees or immediate eviction without a refund — we appreciate your help keeping things peaceful for everyone on the property.

Sound: This cottage has an open-ceiling layout between rooms, so sound carries easily. Great for families or close friends staying together — just know bedrooms won't be fully private acoustically.

Water: We're on well water — safe to drink, though some guests notice a metallic taste. Distilled water is available at nearby stores.

What to bring: toiletries, beach towels (we provide bath towels), charcoal if you're grilling, cooking basics like oil and salt, groceries, and a lighter or fire starters if you'll use the fire pit.

What we provide: coffee, dishwasher pods, trash bags, paper towels, two starter rolls of toilet paper, and firewood for the fire pit.
