The apartment was fantastic. It's exactly like the photos and is in an unbeatable location close to the centre of Birmingham and with a tranquil outlook onto the canal and its locks. It was very secure and quiet except for the sounds of the waterbirds which was lovely. Comfortable rooms and beds, very nice bathrooms and kitchen. Great coffee machine, washing machine and dryer, and also a clothes horse. All the appliances had video instructions. The hosts were very responsive, within an hour or so. Close to Tesco supermarket.
The car park was narrow and a bit hard to navigate but having a car park was much appreciated. There were not quite enough coat hangers and no pegs provided but these are minor gripes!

Amazing location. Balcony overlooks the canal and great access to local amenities. The flat was pristine and very luxurious.
There was no shower mat for inside the bath, nor a handrail. It made getting in/out of the bath rather precarious. I felt very unsafe unfortunately. The shower in the en-suite really needs a handrail as well as it’s a long floor surface inside the cubicle and it was quite difficult to manoeuvre safely.
The double zip-link bed was a bit uncomfortable - the zip created a large ridge that ran down the centre of the bed and was a bit of an issue. It disrupted my sleep unfortunately because the sleeping surface was so uneven and bumpy.
Hooks on the bathroom doors would be very useful!
