Amazing Hotel Style & Location

l´hotel est vraiment ce que l´on esperait. Design et boutique. Notre suite etait très spacieuse et à l´écart du reste des logements en chambre conventionnelle. La réception a été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Entre 17 et 18 heures il y a une degustation de vins, gratuite pour les clients et après le diner, une belle dégusttion de liqueurs est proposée gracieusement!

Le manque d´espace en armoire pour ranger nos vêtements, surtout que nous y sommes restés pour huit nuits. Le service de nettoyage est venu tapé à notre porte à 9h15. C´est trop tôt car à cette heure matinale, les clients sont encore en train de se préparer pour sortir. Les horaires et la qualité du petit déjeuner sont bons mais par contre le personnel ne fait AUCUN EFFORT pour être um minimum sympatique, parfois même TRÈS arrogant. On a l´impression qu´il n´a pas de plaisir à faire ce job. A 10h00 précise, tout le buffet est retiré bruyamment pour vous montrer qu´il est temps de vous presser pour sortir. C´est honteux de voir ce genre de comportement dans un si bon établissement. LA SEULE NOTE NEGATIVE DU SÉJOUR !!

The rooftop breakfasts were excellent and a Lovely place to sit. Dinner was good too.

We were very disappointed to arrive and find the ancient spa was closed for a number of weeks. We had specifically picked the hotel for the spa! So very disappointed. It would have been nice if we’d been told this beforehand. The reception staff seemed to be under pressure to serve drinks is at the bar as well as greet arrivals. We didn’t feel we could ask questions about how to use the metro/trains etc or get advice on good places to visit. Some of the staff were quite curt. Some v nice. A bit mixed to be honest. Same with the breakfast service. A bit mixed. There was always a rush to get our breakfast cleared at 10am even though the restaurant was empty. Not very relaxing… Geound floor heritage rooms were street level. Large windows. People Literally walking past your window. No privacy - so we changed rooms on our 2nd day. Would not recommend those rooms unless you are happy to keep curtains closed all day. Ask for rooms on upper ground floor or higher. Our first room had very little cupboard space. Our friends stayed in a room that had virtually no space at all. The lounge areas were very nice. Great design as were the rooms. Modern Danish quite minimal but we liked that vibe. You can get a free glass of wine between 5-6pm and a tipple at the end of the evening. Which was great. Bit front of house did not communicate this on arrival. We discovered this by chance! I guess all in all I’d recommend better training for the younger members of the team that clearly did not have any training in hospitality. Pot luck who you get!
