Everything! I’m sad I can only give this a 10 and not more. Eric and his staff were super friendly and very helpful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, rooms are big, clean, super nicely decorated. The facilities are great, you can book anything through a tablet (from Angkor tours, to motorbike rental, laundry, etc etc) and they will arrange it for you. Free snacks, water and coffee. Fast wifi. Beautiful pool that’s so nice after a sweaty morning at Angkor.
We got fresh mangoes from the garden every day 🥭❤️! What we also loved is that you can go for a stroll around the hotel to see the less touristy side of SR. There are little markets with local food, children playing everywhere, people smiling at you. It’s super safe and so heartwarming.
You can buy ice cream, snacks and fresh coconuts at the little shops in the street and support local families. But if you prefer more western food, there’s always a tuktuk nearby that will take you to the center in a few minutes.
This is the perfect Siem Reap stay and I can’t wait to be back.

The property was super clean and the rooms are huge and so unique. I did not want to leave! It was the best room and hotel experience I ever had. The hotel is located in between the downtown area and Angkor Wat. Just 10min drive to each. It’s on a very quiet street as well. The pool feels very private because it is surrounded by beautiful palms and trees. You can rent a scooter directly at Villa Sun. Price is cheaper and better quality than other places. They gave us a brand new one with new helmets as well.

beautiful design, spacious room, nice pool, helpful staff, fair price for services. i also really appreciate the thoughtful welcome gestures and treats upon arrival, they made a great first impression :)
it would be nice to have the room cleaned, at least every other day (i was there for 5 nights and my towels were not changed, bathroom not cleaned, etc.)
