Wonderful, peaceful place with a breathtaking view
We absolutely loved our stay at My Village Riverside and can highly recommend it. The value for money is excellent. What impressed us most was the breathtaking view - both from room, bathroom and breakfast terrace -of the surrounding landscape, the jungle, and the dramatic, rugged limestone cliffs – simply stunning!
There is a small boat pier on the neighboring property, which made it possible for us to be picked up by a tour boat directly in front of the accommodation. The breakfast was also very, very delicious. We especially appreciated that, at our request, the owner prepared a delicious Lao noodle soup for us every morning, even though it wasn’t actually on the à-la-carte menu. She was incredibly flexible, attentive, and genuinely made an effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and slept wonderfully. The rooms and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The location on the edge of the village provides peace and quiet, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind.
We would wholeheartedly recommend My Village Riverside to anyone looking for a peaceful, idyllic place away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by beautiful nature. We would definitely stay here again!

La vue sur la rivière et la montagne depuis la chambre, la gentillesse de la famille, notamment Serth qui a tout arrangé pour nous : le trek de deux jours, la réservation du minibus pour le retour à Luang Prabang. Nous avons ainsi passé un séjour très agréable à Nong Khiaw et cette chambre et l'accueil ont beaucoup contribué à la qualité de notre séjour !
