It was really nice and it was very spacious but still has that home feeling.

Plenty of space over the 2 floors.
It's clearly been recently renovated so everything is very new. WiFi and Smart TV both good.
Lots of kitchen worktop space and plenty of cupboard space which makes a change if you were to be staying a week and planning to cook.
With a few fixes, I think this could be a really cracking place to stay.
The bed, the most solid mattress I've ever come across, leading to a rubbish night's sleep, it would 100% put us off staying again.
It's clearly not quite finished in it's renovations and so there's a few niggles of things covered in plastic and labels etc, nothing major.
For those less agile, it's worth noting there's steps in the lobby area, tall ones in to the pool table area and lots down in to the garden.
Garden also had a lot of rubbish (from renovations) to the side and is no way secure for dogs so just bear that in mind.

Location worked well for us - visiting the university. Owners were friendly and accommodating.
Some people have moaned that the beds are too firm. They are firm, but are fine.
This house could be great. But it’s not finished and the renovations clearly haven’t been done to a high standard. It really needs a deep clean (as others have said) and for the building work to be finished and tidied up. We had to wash the limited crockery before use and the drying up towel was filthy. Kitchen was poorly equipped.
Give the place some TLC and it would really help.
