The hotel was very welcoming and homely. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The place was spotl;essly clean and also very well maintained. It had a great vibe. It was a five minute drive from the seashore in Troon where we walked that evening and again in the morning before breakfast.
We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. This was confirmed as the restaurant was full and appeared to be very popular with the locals. Breakfast was again excellent.
In particular we found the warmth, friendliness of the staff a real plus and they went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. We would recommend it to anyone travelling in the area.

Very comfortable. Lovely staff. Great breakfast.
The only issue was the shower. Kept going from scalding hot to icy cold. A 2 minute shower ended up taking 6 trying to regulate the water.
