It's right by the ocean. A gorgeous spot, especially in the mornings and during low tide. They DO HAVE WIFI, and it's an excellent one. On Booking it says no wifi, and they should really change that, as it's a deal breaker for many. My cozy, clean and spacious room opened up to the lovely rustic covered seafront terrace with rustic tables and chairs, a sunbeds and some hammocks. So chilled and nice. It reminded me so much about good old time Philippine travelling. Hard to find these places these days. It's worth to note that they have 2 entries on booking.com, so if you fall in love with the look of the terrace, but want a better room, then type JRM place in the search box and the 2nd entry appears with better, but not much more expensive rooms. The rustic place that appears first, has better rating, maybe because those rooms attracts a different clientel! Excellent location close to the bus stop and 7 eleven. Cold drinks for sale in the evening. BYO anything else. I didn't come to Oslob for the controversial whale sharks, but because there is so much else you can see on easy day trips. Buses are frequent and habal habals are so organized from the junctions to tourist sights, with fair fixed prices posted up. I ended up extending my stay, as it was so much to see.
It was nothing I didn't like.

It's right in front of the beach. You will wake up with wavea crashing upon it's seawall. They have free soap amd shampoo.
It is a walking distance however to the main road and 711, as well aa to their Cuartel ruins and I ❤️ Oslob sign.
They don't have hot shower, but it was not mentioned anyway in the facilities. No Bidet (as mentioned). Water slows down sometimes.

Its on the Ocean and the Host was such an amazing woman. She made sure I was comfortable, she cooked dinner for me on multiple nights and she has people that she would call to give me rides places and she was very knowledgeable about the area.
The room is well airconditioned but the beds weren't very comfy. Mosquites were a challange inside still. The room was private but its not sound proof so I still could hear everything and i'm sure they could hear me as well. I would still come back here as I enjoyed the stay so much and the hospitality, the wifi was great and the beds in Asia arent generally comfy anywhere so I still think this spot was a win!!
