Wonderful base for exploring the Barossa with a young family. The wood fire was wonderful to come home to each evening and the children loved looking for kangaroos on the estate - there was a family of them that we sighted each morning and evening amongst the vines. The house is excellently located on Sales Yard Road in Penrice - short drives to Angaston, Tanunda and Nuriootpa with all the major wineries within reach. Overall, a memorable family trip due in no small part to the accommodation.

Convenient location near Barossa sights. Very clean and comfortable. The views of vines are interesting and relaxing. We saw kangaroos and hares.

Great place - well located as long as you have a car. Lovely combustion fire. All the amenities you could ask for. Comfy beds!

Some things seemed a little tired and could use a little spruce up. Only 1 toilet / bathroom for 3 double bedrooms could be a little bit of an issue for bigger groups.
