Perfect location as we wanted to visit the Secret Lagoon. So private and quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable, warm. Really nice little kitchen. I especially appreciated the detailed check in information with GPS coordinates and how to contact the owner if necessary.
We weren't aware of the typical Icelandic locking door handle and couldn't figure out how to lock the door properly. It obviously wasn't a big deal for us, but other guests might also have this issue. You might want to mention it in your check in email for foreigners.

Cute little tiny house. Bed was comfy, hot tub was warm, shower--once it got warm--was lovely. Be sure to go to Hrunalaug Hot Springs for a quiet, back to nature experience.
While there were coffee pods, there was neither creamer nor sugar for the coffee. There are no stores within any sort of driving distance where you could get some. Owner said they would take care of it for future visitors. They were working with a heavy equipment well into the night on adjoining property so there were people walking back and forth on the road right next to the house. Couldn't enjoy the not so quiet hot tub. It really irritated me that they cancelled my original reservation (apparently property changed hands) and then offered me the same place for over 1/3 more money. After much back and forth, Bookings eventually covered the price difference.
