The location is absolutely perfect - a very short walk to the beach and easy access from the road. Having the end house was a bonus so far as seclusion and outlook with the pretty gardens. It was good having a full kitchen although it would have been helpful to have instructions for the dishwasher, washing machine and oven/hob. It would also have been nice to have at least one tablet for each of the dishwasher and the washing machine as a starter. Also, a bread knife would have been good.
Unfortunately, the access to the bedroom is dangerous. It appears to be a design fault with the design and steepness of the stairs making it difficult to get down to the bathroom at night. The gap between the end of the bed and the banisters made it very difficult to get around for the person sleeping on the right hand side. Sitting at the breakfast bar is very uncomfortable. Whilst the whole concept is lovely, there were a number of issues with lack of maintenance.

Beautifully designed property with a lovely outdoor area featuring a barbecue and shaded seating, perfect for relaxing. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essential utensils and appliances needed for a comfortable stay.
The property is in urgent need of better maintenance. Two of the air conditioning units perform very poorly. During our stay in early July, the afternoon temperatures inside the villa became extremely uncomfortable. One of the AC units also displayed constant error messages and repeatedly shut itself off, making it even harder to keep the villa cool. Fortunately, the indoor temperature became more tolerable at night.
The villa would also benefit from a thorough deep cleaning. At first glance it appears clean, but a closer look reveals that it has not received proper detailed maintenance for some time.
The bathroom is functional but requires attention. The toilet works properly, but its worn, faded finish gives the impression of being dirty. The same applies to the sink and shower. The shower is only partially functional and is clearly in need of repair.
As for the staff, the only time we needed assistance they responded quickly and came to inspect the air conditioning issue. They acknowledged the problem and told us that maintenance would come to fix it. Unfortunately, no one ever arrived, and we received no further communication for the remainder of our stay.
