The property is a 5-minute drive from the national park, making it very convenient. It’s also close to good local restaurants and avoids the main hustle and bustle of the downtown area. I had a suite which was very spacious, modern, and clean. There was a coffee maker with coffee pods, a comfortable sofa, and the room had a mountain view. I didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. I used the sauna once. It’s very small (one person only) and you have to reserve it and pay extra in advance. It was good to have it after a long day of hiking. The breakfast was decent but gets v busy between 7-8am. There was help with booking tickets for local attractions and useful suggestions what to do and when. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable spot away from the crowds.
It’s a 45-minute drive from Tianmen Mountain but you have to make a choice with your accommodation and I preferred this one as it is closer to the national park.

The Hilton Garden Inn Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan is in a superb location for exploring the sights of the many sights Zhangjiajie (you can even walk to the East gate of the scenic area park), with everythng accessible by a short taxi ride. What stood out: 1) The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We were looked after by Joanna, who was very proactive and efficient, and she organised an excellent itinerary ahead of time. She is also very responsive to all our questions.
2) The hotel is very modern and spacious: the best of all Hilton and rival hotels we have stayed in across China. We had two joined family rooms, they were excellent and always kepy spotless. The pool is also brilliant for families.
Not much. The restaurant for lunch and dinner was being refurbished when we stayed, but there is a huge choice of excellent places to eat locally.

Good location. New and fresh rooms. Decent size.
No restaurant on site. No western food nearby. Only way to get food was to order takeaway off an app.
