We have been going to Stratford for 25 years now, and this is one of the best rental experiences that we have had. After a nightmare rental last year, I contacted the owner to see if I could see the unit before we left town, and he made it work on short notice. We were impressed at what we saw and booked a rental for this year. We were not disappointed with our visit. The location is perfect with easy access to all theaters, town and restaurants. Parking is right outside of the front door. The unit is very spacious and very comfortable. The couch is great and the king size bed is very nice and doesn’t have a center sag like so many rentals. Kitchen is well equipped. There are two window air conditioner units which are a bit loud, but certainly kept it cool and drown out any traffic noise. There is a dresser for clothing and a small area for hanging clothes. The bathroom is fine, but the shower is on the tight size. Minor point. There are a couple of flights of stairs that are a bit steep, maybe 22 steps in all, so if you have mobility issues this might be a concern. The unit was clean, but I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because I am picky about this. We plan on renting again next year if it is available for our timeframe.

This is a very large, well equipped and well located property. The owners were very quick to respond to questions and concerns and we would recommend it especially to those, like us, who enjoy cooking and theatre. The accommodation was pricey and we would have expected better quality sheets and pillows. We also would have appreciated some notes about how to work the television (we gave up and used our computers instead) and the heating/cooling system and garbage but did the best we could nevertheless. Perhaps, as seniors, we were less prepared but we would highly recommend the VRBO nevertheless.

This spacious apartment is in a perfect location, was really clean and comfortable. The hosts were quick to respond to questions. Will definitely stay again when we're back at the festival.

It's a very convenient location - walk to all the theaters. The apartment is spacious and was perfect for my husband and I. Despite being (almost) on the main road and part of the same building housing a restaurant, it was quiet at night (granted, we were there in late September, so it wasn't peak season). The portable room air conditioners cooled the space well. The only small drawback is the lack of a closet. There is a small rod with host-provided hangers, but it'll only fit 5 or 6 pieces of clothing. There is a 4- drawer chest, so for just a few days, it wasn't a big deal.
