About this apartment rental
2-bedroom space on second floor of the funky old Baker Building. So close to the Avon you could walk home for your cocktail at intermission! A compact spot, relaxed in feel, lovingly restored and revitalized by Janice Lindsay, PINK Colour + Design. Super comfy mattresses. Great lighting. Wifi. TV for use as a big screen monitor - no cable [bring your connector unless PC]. AC. Bluetooth speaker. Free municipal parking lot one block away. Children are welcome. Communal terrace at the back.
Comfy beds, down duvets, feather and non feather pillows.
There is a laundry room with coin machines down the hall.
8` picnic table on the terrace.
The location is very convenient. Great restaurants right on the block. Stratford Market Square outside your door.
Revel Cafe just around the corner has amazing coffee and baked goods and a deck out back. Soup Surreal right downstairs does fab soups - great for quick meals in your home away from home. I get their Moroccan Tomato and, for a larger meal, serve it on rice or pasta. The Butcher and Baker up the street has a lots of basic food stuffs and the best meat counter in town - also do take out sandwiches for picnics by the river.
If you bring bikes we will work out where you can lock them up.
Walk to Avon - 4 minutes - really!
Walk to Tom Paterson - 15 min, 20 min. if you dont do short cuts :-)
Walk to Festival - about 45 minutes but nice along the river....
Walk to train station - 20 minutes. You really dont need a car for all the best that Stratford has to offer.
The common area halls are colourful, funky and eclectic.
