If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in West Michigan, this property delivers in every way. My girlfriend and I stayed here while exploring the local towns in the area, and it was the ideal place to come back to at the end of each day. Most major sights and popular towns are about an hour away. The property has a wonderful cabin-in-the-woods feel — cozy and secluded without actually being a cabin. The highlight for us was the backyard deck overlooking the river and the fire pit area, where we spent our evenings unwinding after a day of touring. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, with neighbors who respected the tranquility of the area.The listing was accurate, the space was spotless, and every amenity described was exactly as advertised — no surprises, just a smooth and comfortable stay. The host was also a standout — responsive and communicative throughout, which always makes a trip feel more relaxed.For couples looking for a getaway that blends a relaxing atmosphere with easy access to nearby towns, this is a great pick. We'd book again without hesitation.

Beautiful piece of property on the river! Lots of amenities included in property. Not as quiet and secluded when the hosts’ extended family came to use the river and grounds keeping us away. Could use a good scrubbing in the cottage. Overall good stay but could have easily been better.
