The house was perfect for a family get-together of 9 people with 5 well-sized bedrooms, a dining table that could seat all of us and comfortable chairs for each of us in the living room. We were pleasantly surprised with the country surroundings and peaceful back garden despite being close to a fairly busy road. The hot tub and table tennis table were well used. Televisions and fans in rooms added extra comfort. There is a good Italian restaurant within easy walking distance and the Gladstone pottery museum, Trentham gardens and Emma Bridgewater factory are not far away (all highly recommended).
Despite clear instructions about sorting general waste and recycling, the bins were outside and it was just lucky that we had brought large bags that we could use in the kitchen.

Alison was extremely helpful and quick to respond to messages. The house had pretty much everything we needed. The hot tub was great and there was ample parking. It was nice to all be able to sit and eat together as there were enough chairs in the dining area for all. Comfy beds. Everywhere nice & clean.
There was no bin in the kitchen but bins opposite the back door so it isn’t a major issue it just took us a while to find the bin bag to use which was probably more a case of us not reading the info I think .

Spacious clean and everything we needed

The location is perfect for a visit to Alton towers with the park being 20 minutes away. Myself and a Few friends had a lovely 3 day visit and found the ample parking and indoor space was amazing.
The only thing we found a little odd was that their is no bin in the kitchen so had to put any recycling or rubbish directly outside in the big bins, which if it was wet out was not great.
