I was lucky enough to be a guest here during the festivals season. Key Hostel Serdika is just minutes away from all festivals and celebration spots.
No evening was the same and I explored the surroundings a lot.
Brilliant really. I loved in particular the Lunar Festival - 5 minutes walk from the Hostel.
Further, Vitosha Boulevard and NDK surprised me with amazing performances from artists allover the world. Some of them are guests here, in Key Hostel Serdika.
There were also Gladiator fights just 3 minutes walk from here.
Highly recommend Key Hostel Serdika for it's location in particular!
I've extended my stay as this week there's still a lot to explore around.
Brilliant timing and overall experience!
Best location in Sofia for sure: transport, entertainment, culture, shops. You just have it all!

I enjoyed my time a lot in this Hostel.
The staff and management are super kind, helpful and professional.
The check-in / checkout experience was seamless and all instructions were on point.
From my experience and what I've heard from others, this is the best Hostel in Sofia!

I was in the Female Bedroom and I did appreciate the comfy bed, clean bed sheets, the spacious wardrobe and the overall privacy & safety.
Key Hostel Serdika has codes for every door and the overall security is pretty good.
I've heard from other ladies that the overall cleanliness in Key Hostel Serdika is much much better compared to.otger Hostels they've visited.

The mattress was comfortable and the dorm rooms wer secured with password locks.
The hostel is not easy to spot since it is just marked with a very small sign that almost blends in with the wall of the building. The common rooms just consist of some seemingly randomly collected sofas and armchairs, which did not seem inviting to me to hang out. The door to some of the toilet rooms was taped to stay open and one of the shower rooms did not even have a door (I don't know about the ones on the other side of the floor but heard nothing good either). The common showers in the doorless room just had shower curtains, so anyone could have theoretically just come in a pull the curtain aside. Also, to get into the tiny kitchen, you had to go through said shower room (but at least that kitchen had a door you could close. The kitchen was tiny for the number of people this hostel is capable of hosting and it did not seem clean whenever I was in there. As for the dorm room, it is not anyone's fault, but there were dozens of flies in my room when I entered since they kept the windows open until my arrival for getting some fresh air in. So perhaps some gauze/mesh would be advisable.
